FIFA chief unworried about Russia 2018 hooligans

 FIFA 2018

FIFA president Gianni Infantino said Thursday he was not worried about hooliganism at next year's Russia World Cup, amid growing fears the tournament could be blighted by fan violence.
Speaking in Qatar following a FIFA executive summit meeting, Infantino also said that football's governing body has not asked Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko to resign as the tournament's chief organiser.

"I am not concerned about trouble and violence in 2018," Infantino told AFP and a small group of reporters on the sidelines of the meeting.
"I have full confidence in the Russian authorities, they are taking this matter very, very seriously."
He added that Russian organisers had been in touch with FIFA, UEFA and the organisers of Euro 2016 in France, where Russian and English fans clashed in bloody street battles, especially in Marseille, leading to the expulsion of several Russians.

He added that Russia was a "welcoming country, which wants to celebrate football".
Infantino's comments came ahead of the broadcast of a television documentary in Britain on Thursday in which Russian hardline fans are said to threaten trouble against English fans who go to the World Cup.

Hardline hooligans warned that the 2018 World Cup would be a "festival of violence".

There are also concerns about Mutko, who has faced questions about his role as head of the Russia's 2018 organising committee after being linked to doping by Russian athletes.
Mutko has denied any link to the scandal, which a report by a World Anti-Doping Agency investigator said was "state sponsored".
Mutko is also seeking a new place on the FIFA council in a vote in April and must pass an integrity check.
Asked whether he has asked Mutko to resign as head of the Russian World Cup committee, Infantino said: "No."

- Four WC host countries? -
Infantino was however more open about the prospect of countries sharing the hosting of the World Cup finals from 2026 on, when the tournament will expand to 48 teams.
"For 2026, now we are starting the bidding process, we took already some important decisions," he said. "We will encourage co-hosting of the World Cup.

FIFA 2018

"We need FIFA to show we are reasonable and we have to think about sustainability long-term.
"If you think about the World Cup and the requirements we are putting on countries there are really only a few countries in the world that can comply.
"It is perfectly in line with our sustainability and legacy to maybe bring together two, three, four countries who can jointly present a project with three, four, five stadiums each."

He added that hosting countries should "preferably" be located close to one other, which may increase speculation about a joint North American bid for 2026.
One of the few countries which can afford a World Cup on its own is Qatar.

Last week, the country's finance minister, Ali Shareef Al-Emadi,said the energy-rich 2022 hosts were spending almost $500 million every week on major infrastructure projects for football's biggest tournament.
However one outstanding concern is the need for Qatar to test its multi-billion dollar facilities ahead of 2022.

Asked if Doha could host the 2021 FIFA World Club World Cup tournament, Infantino said "all options were open".
"We have to make sure there will be some test events, test matches organised here and all the options are open at this moment in time."

Future of cricket in Bangladesh

The people of Bangladesh are fond of various games and sports. They were introduced first with the game of cricket in 1972. Since then, they have been playing cricket. But it was then confined only into this land. After 1990, they started to play cricket in international field. Form then, they are doing better and showing their dexterity in this games. In 1997 they won the ICC cup defeating kenia which was held at kualalampur in Malaysia. They are playing well though they are unable to keep this state. No doubt, the future of cricket in Bangladesh is bright if a congenial atmosphere can be created for its betterment, if the lacks of the cricketers can be uprooted and if they cared well.

Present condition of cricket

the present condition of cricket is not satisfactory at all. Bangladesh fakes part in test cricket in 2000 but she won in test cricket only for once in 2005 which is not all a satisfactory sate. Though Bangladesh promoted to second round of twenty 20 world cup cricket in 2007, it failed to promote to semi-final. Not only this, it lost all the matches in this round. Then question arises, how the future of cricket in Bangladesh is bright if this miserable condition goes on. The fact is that the future of cricket in Bangladesh will be bright if the causes of its miserable condition can be uprooted immediately.

Causes of the miserable condition of cricket in Bangladesh

there lies a lit of resons behind the miserable condition of cricket in Bangladesh. Such as-
the cricketers are not getting sufficient training under a dexterous coach.
Sometimes the coach cannot do well because of having language problem.
Besides, our cricketers are suffering from malnutrition. Because of not having sufficient nutrition, they cannot do well according to the demand. So, it can be said without any hesitation that most of our cricketers are physically unfit.
Further, BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Bord) is not getting enough financial support from the government for which it cannot take essential steps for its betterment. Consequently, it fals to manage a good coach or a physician for the cricketers.

Furthermore, almost all of our cricketers are not well-off. They take cricket as a means of earning money. Consequently, they cannot play according to their expectation.
How our cricketers can do bright in future:  it is high time our government and authority concerned took necessary steps for the betterment of our cricket. They can take some initial steps. Such as-
They can find out the good cricketers, scattered over the remote corners of the country.
They can arrange a proper training for the cricketers under a good coach.
Besides, some multinational company should come forward to sponsor our cricketers which will keep them free from all sorts of financial anxieties.

Bangladesh Cricket Bord (BCB)

Bangladesh is one of the 101 members of  ICC and one of the eight permanent members of it. The cricketers of  Bangladesh are doing well day by day. For instance, recently they have defeated West Indies, a team that has won the world cup cricket for two times, in the twenty 20 world cup cricket which is a very inspiring news for us. If our cricketers are given proper training both physically and mentally, if they are supported financially to remain tescion-free, ne day our cricketers will reach their goal. So it can be said undoubtedly that the futureof cricket in Bangladesh is very bright and it is crystal clear.
